Success: What Leads to Success?
Richard St. John did a 3 minutes presentation in TED: Ideas worth spreading about the Secrets of success.
I could not agree more to what he just found after interviewing 500 people for 7 years and resume in 8 words the Secrets of Success.
So, what leads to success?
1. Passion
Passion is all, if you are driven by passion then you are unstoppable. From my own experience this is undenyable, I have always failed misserable in all I did not really care enough, but up to today there are 3 things is still keep doing and I am damn good at it. That is, Martial Arts, Information Technology and Banking. So get your hands on discovering on what are you good at!. Even though for many difficult to grasp you have to do things for love and not for money.
2. Work
It’s all hard work, it is time for many of you to stop believing that hype that things are easy and that thanks to the Law of Attraction this will come easy to you. Wake up people, for anything to become passive (like passive income) first you need to start Actively, working a lot and hard but smart and remembering to have fun.
3. Be Good at it
It serves no purpose to wish for something you do not plan to put a single drop of sweat in order to be good at it. So get damn good at it!
Then… Practice a lot!
I will never forget what once my Martial Arts Master told me: “Perfect practice makes Perfect” and he is right on the nail with that one!
4. Focus
With so much to do in this multitasking world be have already forgot that Focusing on just one thing is part of the Secret of success. That way you can spend much more time and energy on a single task and get it very well done.
5. Push Yourself and get some positive help push
So right! when Richard said you have to push through shyness and self-doubt and the best pusher is your mom! I can really relate to that one!
6. Serve
Self evident is serve other something of value in order to get the money.
7. Ideas
The spark that starts it all, you need a great Idea and how to find a great idea is also very well explained by Richard:

7.3 Be Curious
7.4 Ask Questions
7.5 Problem Solve
7.6 Make Connections
8. Persist
Persistence, there is where I am good at it, I would never let anything get me down. I will be always there pushing, pushing and pushing up throught whatever people think, believe, opinate or whatever.
So as Richard says: “You have to persist through CRAP”

Pressure
Many of us are for sure doing some of the steps but it is important to understand that it is the combination of these 8 Steps that makes you successful no matter what you wish to achieve in life.
You can put them in a Small visit card and keep them always with you, that way you will always be reminded of what leads to success.
