Advice to get rid of your Money problems
I enjoyed your article “Get Rid of Your Money Addiction”
and wanted to know if you have more information or reading
material that you could suggest for someone who has a
money addiction. Thanks for your time.
Thanks for your interest in the article, it is important for you to distinguish between 2 things… there are times when we are spending much more money than we are earning and we find ourselves in need of money to pay our most basic bills… that is the result of bad money management or lack of control on spending your money and this also can create what we could call an addiction because you cannot think about anything else but the money you need to cover your most basic needs…
There is people that even though they can pay their most basic bills they will be just thinking about get all the money they want at any cost… and that is the real issue…
The reason is simple and can be explained with the following analogy: How many times have happened to you that when you are looking for something you do not seem to find it but at the very time that you give up looking for it, even though deep down it is your wish to find it, you find it and most of the time it was all of the time under your nose.
That same principle repeats all over whatever you wish in life, it also happens a lot in love relationships, maybe you would have noticed that when you do not have a boyfriend and you are looking for someone it looks quite hard to find someone to your like or you are so desperate that they just come and go, but when you are not really looking for someone because maybe you have a boyfriend then it seems that almost everyone is pretending you and very interested in you.
You need to let go and trust the “invisible” forces that you can manipulate with your thoughts (read my articles on the laws of the universe) to let them guide you to the right path to your goals. With this I am not saying that you have to sit back and let it all come by magic but just trust that whatever is happening in your life have a deep meaning that is related to the goals you want to achieve and energize all the time with your thoughts. You need to have something to deposit your faith in and be consistent at that… most of the time things do not happen overnight and that is something our actual culture have deep ingrained in us, that is a big mistake, going for the fast buck is nothing but a mere illusion of safety.
With money is the same, if you are struggling to pay basic bills then the first thing I would recommend you to do is to find a way to reduce all your expenses to a minimum so you can have the feel that you are covered and that way you can release your anxious desires to have as much money as possible.
If you have debt now is the right time to talk with the banks and let them know that you cannot pay them as they want them paid or even think about go bankrupt, many people is scared to go bankrupt but think again, the time you go bankrupt you will not be able to get a credit anymore in your life, but more than a curse that might be a bless. Credits are your way to slavery, you will be a slave of monthly payments and to the whole economic system.
Make your own money and live with the money you make from your work, do not falsely leverage your life with money that you do not own, that is living in a bubble that sooner or later will blow. If you live in the US, things are set to get even worse it does not matter how much time it takes but I will let you know that the only ones set to suffer from the actual decisions of your government is you the US folk.
Once you feel that you at least have the necessary money to live without owing anything to anyone you will feel a lot of weight out of your shoulders and you will be able to then build your own riches without having to think about the money but about what you are doing to get the money. Do not focus on money, focus on what you really love to do.
As a rudimentary example, if you are a waiter and the only thing you do is think about how big a tip you will receive you will not be doing your job correctly or using your charm correctly enough to get a nice tip. But, if you only focus on taking care of your client the best you can and be there for him/her for whatever he needs you will see that most probably the reward for your service will be handsomely paid. Money is just the byproduct of whatever you do, the better you do it the more money is people willing to pay for your services.
Force yourself to think that way, do not focus on the money, get rid of being desperate for money and focus only on working your way up.
Once you have made more money that you need to afford your minimum basic needs then you will start donating a part of it in order to comply with the Law of give and receive.
It does not matter if you believe on these laws or not, they are working on you all the time and in everyone of us and ignorance will not make them go away.
