Money can be thought as some sort of medium or energy and energy needs to circulate. In high school we learned that Energy is not created nor destroyed it is just transformed.

It is a common natural law that we need to let energy flow freely, if energy does not flow then it will not return to you in a higher amount.

Our addiction to money is not just the root of the problem but also the root of our LACK of MONEY. At the very moment that you focus too much on having money because you are addicted to it you will just repel it. The law of Repulsion (the contrary of the Law of Attraction) will just set in to make this true.

Every one of us, due to conditioning, is in some degree addicted to money and it should be our goal to get rid of our addiction.

I have found what seems to be the most intelligent way to get rid of your money addiction, something that in some way is not a big secret and that almost every single successful person do:

DONATE YOUR MONEY.

Simple isn’t it?

Long time ago I noticed the following happen in my life,,, I have to say that I am very happy in all parts of my life,,, except in the money area and all of sudden I noticed the following:

I always donate time to others because it makes me happy
I always donate knowledge because it makes me happy
I always donate love because it makes me feel great
I always donate good will
I always donate my happiness for success so others feel successful too

so I am blessed in all this parts of my life BUT

but I barely donated any money …. and I did not feel blessed…

Giving is a spiritual law, just as gravity is a physical law. If you give without expecting anything in return, you are fulfilling that law, and you will receive blessings.

The Bible says that giving 10% of your increase to God brings a blessing. This can be done any number of ways:

1. Giving to the church
2. Giving to the poor
3. Giving to a person or entity that is helping others (supporting ministry, supporting mission work, etc.)
4. Giving to charity, etc.

The bible is very clear on this:

See the Book of Malachi Chapter 3, verse 8.

8 “Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me.
“But you ask, ‘How do we rob you?’
“In tithes and offerings. You are under a curse—the whole nation of you—because you are robbing me. Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it. I will prevent pests from devouring your crops, and the vines in your fields will not cast their fruit,” says the LORD Almighty. “Then all the nations will call you blessed, for yours will be a delightful land,” says the LORD Almighty.

2 Corinthians 8:7
But just as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us —see that you also excel in this grace of giving.

The Bible also talks about making offerings. This can be any of the above beyond 10%. You can also give of your time by serving others in various capacities.

You could serve meals to the poor at Christmas or any other time. You could paint a widow’s house, or clean up her yard. You could take a fatherless orphan to an event.

Giving a tenth of your income is a command. God says when you give the tenth (called a tithe), He will pour out a blessing you so great that you cannot receive it all. That doesn’t necessarily mean money. For some it comes in the form of money. For others it could come as a happy marriage, or wonderful friends, or…..anything that makes you happy.

There are many scriptures that speak about giving and the rewards of giving. Too many for me to go into here.

There are also some warnings:

Matthew 6:1
[ Giving to the Needy ] “Be careful not to do your ‘acts of righteousness’ before men, to be seen by them. If you do, you will have no reward from your Father in heaven….

Matthew 6:4
…so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

Still need more proof?

Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg, Angelina Jolie donate $58 million to charity over in 12 months.

Many famous people today have become philanthropists such Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, Richard Branson, Madonna and more. These kinds act of giving has set an excellent example for us all to follow.

Although many people are not as rich as the people mentioned above, donating a little can still make a big difference. You do not need to be rich to donate, you just need to donate what you believe will not affect your own survival, that is my own RULE OF THUMB:

DONATE WHAT YOU THINK WILL NOT AFFECT YOUR OWN SURVIVAL.

Almost all people that I know around me who are very successful and “blessed” with a lot of money have always donated money, not when they started to get some money but even when they had very little. Lot of these people were not aware of this natural law of give and receive but they were just doing their donations proving that the laws of the Universe are working for equally for everyone.

Another rule of thumb that I use is:

EVERYTIME I RECEIVE MONEY I WILL IMMEDIATELY DONATE A PORTION OF WHAT I HAVE RECEIVED.

This will help me keep my donations circulating constantly.

At first you will notice that it will be hard to give away your money because of your addiction but then you will feel better and better, you will also notice that more money will come back to you and your donations will increase as well. I promise you that you will feel happy and blessed almost immediately and more if you are able to give someone the money directly.
