Money is more than just simple paper!. I wonder how many of you have given enough thought to what is money?.
Money was in principle invented to make the trading of goods easier, instead of you carrying your chickens to trade them for potatoes you just take a couple of paper sheets accepted by your society in general and trade it for the good you want.
Money was invented in order for our whole society to be able to diversify, specialize and evolve.
For example, every human being need to eat, so imagine each of us individually having to grow our own food and spending almost all our time just feeding ourselves. This will be very inefficient as there will be no time for our mankind evolution like medicine, technology or science.
Now imagine that you do not need to worry anymore about growing your own food because someone else will do that for you in exchange for some service you offer but it happens that people who harvest tomatoes are not really interested in what you have to offer to them, instead, the only one interested in what you can offer as a service or good is just the guy who produces milk and it happens that you are allergic to milk
. Probably the guy who sell the tomatoes is interested in milk, so you can trade your goods for milk and then go to the tomato guy and trade it for the milk you have just traded before, uffff complicated right? And not really the most time efficient thing to do
![]()
But, what if you would be able to offer your services to everyone who want them without you really need to be interested in what people produce?, Uhmmm but how? If we could have some sort of middle thing, something that everyone could agree to accept as a MOMENTARY exchange for your goods, a CURRENCY…
What Currency means?
1) something that is used as a medium of exchange; money.
2) general acceptance; prevalence; vogue.
3) a time or period during which something is widely accepted and circulated.
4) the fact or quality of being widely accepted and circulated from person to person.
5) circulation, as of coin.
Currency, the word is very revealing, something which everyone accepts and is circulated from person to person.
So this means that if you have this “currency†you can acquire whatever you wish without having to be worried that maybe the guy who offers what you wish would accept what you have to offer.
1. You will be able to do what you love the most and specialize to the point of being professional.
2. You will save yourself a lot of time.
3. You can save the currency easier in order to trade it for expensive goods.
4. You can transport it without too much hassle.
Many times we have heard that money is the root of all evil, probably, but money is not the problem, the problem is us. Money without us is just useless paper, just imagine going with your paper currency to a remote island full of isolated people and give it to them , most probably they will use them to wipe their butts… jajajajaja they don’t see any value in those useless pieces of paper.
We have developed such a dependency on money, that now we kill ourselves for that piece of paper and sadly enough we kill ourselves because of the “faith†that people have on that piece of paper.
You might find interesting that if you go with your money to the central bank of your country in order to trade it for “something†that might back up that money like gold you might get disappointed, as of today money is not backed by gold anymore.
The problem is not money itself it is our addiction to it and you need to get rid of your addiction.

This makes no mention of the power achieved by who issues the money in our sad case the federal reserve a private entity, which by its vary nature gives a few dominion over all of out individual goods and services and therefore over ourselves which is entirely wrong and corrupt especially over time as that private entity no longer has the same dependencies on our society and its able to diversify by issuing other nations currencies and thereby able to manipulate currencies. No I think the bartering system serves mankind best.
