4 Examples of True Purpose in Life
Margaret Meed, once said “Never doubt that a small group of people can CHANGE THE WORLD. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever hasâ€.
If you pour your heart, passion in complete, truthful and honest desire behind a cause you can rest assured that no matter how hard or difficult the situation is you will succeed.
There are many examples of this in history and this will never change because it is an Universal Truth. In some way, God is always with those people who are really pure (true purpose) of heart.
Let’s review a couple of historical great people who made a change in our world:
1. In 1984, Bob Geldof, Music Journalist, Turned a Punk Rock Frontman because he was inspired by a news report about Africa’s Famine Epidemic and began his fight against world hunger. He organized the World’s First Global Charity Concert and raised 300 million dollars in just one day.
2. In 1976, Betty Williams, A receptionist and mother of two children, witnessed three children being killed during a political turmoil in northern Ireland. Within 2 days after that, she gathered 6000 signatures petitioning for peace. She then lead a 10.000 people march to the children’s graves for peace. The peaceful march was disrupted by protesters and one week later she led another peaceful march with over 35.000 people. She was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1976.
3. In 1961, two students were imprisoned for 7 years for raising their glasses in a toast in the name of Freedom. A British Lawyer, Peter Benenson was shocked by the events so he wrote a letter to his local paper to rally for support to the students, the response was so overwhelming that a committee was formed to organize the campaign which quickly grew into a worldwide movement known today as AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL.
4. In 1920, a boy from a small south African village dreamt of a day when equality would prevail over his country after years of activism he was charged with political treason and sentenced in life to prison but his dream of equality never died. In 1990, after 27 years in prison, Nelson Mandela, was finally released then he led south Africa to its first ever democratic presidential election and more than 19 million people voted. He won the election ending the racist regime that divided south Africa for 46 years.
Sometimes our true purpose knocks at our doors in the most unexpected way and all of sudden all the tools you need to achieve your purpose start to show, you become unexpectedly strong and your will is unbreakable that no obstacle can even bend your desire to reach your goal. Sometimes you become “THE ONE†who with just a minimal effort or donation of time you can make a huge difference.
If we realize how smart we are and become and decide to donate a small fraction of what we have to make your world a better place to live, you will be in the right track of receiving more abundance than you would be able to handle, so be happy and make the difference.
