When I was going through a very painful divorce, it was one evening that was particularly tough. I was upset, crying, and praying. I was asking God why this was happening. I was telling Him that I wanted to understand why, if I could just understand why this was happening then maybe I could have a better sense of closure. In my grief, I heard a very quiet voice inside of me. That voice told me that it was not for me to understand...after that, I quit worrying about it so much. I believe God still speaks...I just think we have to close our minds to the things going on in our physical life and listen to Him with our spirits. God still speaks in a still, small voice.
