If we compare ourselves with all the species that habit our planet we might find that there is something that humankind have that others do not have and that is imagination. Imagination is produced in our frontal lobes which is the part of the brain in charge of doing all the planning, laughing (yes, laughing), out of the box thinking, creation and imagination.

The fact that we have imagination could mean that we indeed have been created to create, in other words a co-creator, think for a moment that every single human made building, road, home, technology standing on earth was a product of some human using his/her imagination in order to create what you are now seeing.

The first step before you decide to create something or bring something to your reality is to imagine what you want to create, there is no other way around this. It all start first with images coming to your mind which then mix with will and desire and eventually crystallize in some sort of real thing in our real world.

It does not matter what you wish to have or not to have or if what you are imagining now is to have a cup of coffee in all cases you will need to first “see” those things in your brain before you can ever have it in your reality.

Following the example of the cup of coffee, we are so used to our material lives that we have forgot that indeed we do imagine such an insignificant thing before we have it for real. It is those images of a cup of coffee that you want that will trigger your different internal mechanisms and make you “move” to get that cup of coffee.

Albert Einstein once said “Imagination is more important than knowledge”. And sure he knew what he was talking about. If you see life like a projector the light bulb is inside your head and the movie is projecting to the outside, so what if you are not creative and imaginative enough to put some good movies in your projector for your life?. Think about that analogy.

Anthony de Mello’s observation in One Minute Wisdom is the perfect example of common thought patterns:
Why is everyone here so happy except me?

Why don’t I see goodness and beauty everywhere?
Because you cannot see outside of you what you fail to see inside.”

In the bible it is said “”As a man thinketh in his heart so is he,”
(Proverbs 23:7)

However, in imagination, you are creating the images rather than watching something in your current reality. Some use the word visualization, but we want to offer this subtle distinction: Visualization is often only a memory of something that you have once observed. By imagination, we mean deliberately bringing desired components together in your mind to create a desired scenario. In other words, focusing with the intention of inducing positive emotion. When we use the term imagination, we are really talking about Deliberately Creating your own reality.”
